We all know that part of being a Scout is being helpful, friendly, courteous, and kind. And what better way to do so than to lighten the lives of those a little less fortunate, those who may feel a little left out, or even those who deserve a little thanks for a job well-done.

During September and November, Goetze's Candy will ask your troop, pack, or crew to complete a challenge; to solve an ISpy puzzle placed in an ad will in Boy's Life Magazine. Upon solving the puzzle, Scouts must go to the Boy's Life Website and submit their entry. Work together... have fun... good luck!

If you are one of the 25 lucky troops, packs, or crews chosen at random, you'll be asked to work together once again. This time, it's to decide whose lives you're gonna brighten, simply by spending some time with them and giving them a sweet pick-me-up. You'll receive a shipment of Goetze's Caramel Creams® and a bunch of Candy-Grams for your troop, pack, or crew to personalize and deliver to the local group of your choice. Pretty sweet, huh? So who's it gonna be? A volunteer fire department or retirement home? Maybe a veteran's organization? Or how about a children's hospital or a school for the physically disabled? It's entirely up to you.

And it gets better! All troops, packs, and crews who enter the challenge will be entered into a random drawing at the end of that month for a $1,000 Grand Prize! So get your eyes open, those minds going, and those warm thoughts flowing!
